How we work
At Ski School Koch, personalised service and maximum safety are our top priorities. Our team of local and international professionals guarantees you personal support, rapid learning success and, above all, tonnes of fun on the slopes.
An 80-year tradition
For almost 80 years now, our familiar and personal atmosphere has been the heart and soul of our ski school. These values are embodied and shared by our entire team.
International team
Our ski instructors speak German, English, Dutch and Danish. The group courses are organised according to language knowledge.
Ideal location
Our ski school is located directly by the most popular access point to the Obertauern ski resort. The surrounding hotels can all be reached on skis. From our Kinderland, you can go straight to the slopes without detours – and it's just as easy to get back again.
Flexible cancellation
Free cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the start of the course. In the event of illness or injury during the course, you'll receive a refund upon presentation of a doctor's certificate.
Convenient pick-up service
Beginners can take advantage of our special pick-up service: The ski school bus picks you up directly from your hotel's ski cellar and drops you back off safely after the course.
Assigning of groups without having to demonstrate skill level
The groups are initially assigned according to age and self-assessment. The ski school director and the instructors accompany the groups on the slopes and make adjustments immediately if necessary.
Ongoing training
Quality is our utmost priority. Which is why we regularly promote the further training of our employees. In addition, special ski instructor training takes place at least once a week to continue improving individual skills.
