Group ski lessons for children
Your child will learn to ski in Obertauern in a fun, safe and age-appropriate setting. Our experienced and highly trained children's ski instructors ensure that the ski course is an unforgettable experience.
- Free pick-up service: Beginners are picked up directly from the hotel.
- Designated "Kinderland" kids' area: With a covered magic carpet and a hut for warming up.
- Weekly ski race: With a festive awarding of medals and a ceremony for the winners.
- Full-day care: The children are supervised by qualified ski instructors throughout the entire day.
- Up to 5 % online discount.
Course times
- Sunday to Friday: 10:00-12:00 and 14:00-16:00
- Christmas and New Year's Eve: continuous group courses
- 1 January: normal ski operation
Meeting point at 09:45
- Beginners: At the Kinderland, directly behind the ski school office.
On request, children can be picked up from the hotel free of charge. - Advanced: At the assembly point between Kirchbühellift and Sonnenlift 1.
Lunchtime supervision
- Optionally bookable as an addition to the full-day course.
- 12:00-14:00
- Includes: Lunch and drink
Final race
- Our weekly final race takes place every Thursday at Sonnenlift 3.
- In the afternoon, we celebrate the children's successes together at the medal awarding and winners' ceremony.
Family bonus
- From the 2nd family member booked, there is a €20 discount per additional person booked (valid from a course duration of 4 days).
- The discount cannot be combined with the early bird discount.
Course start
- Beginners: Sunday & Monday
- Intermediate kids: daily (Sunday to Friday or on request)
- Christmas holidays: additional course start on 26.12.2024 for beginners.

Procedure before and on the first day of the course
- On the day of your arrival, please collect the course card and a bag for the ski course from our office.
- No waiting and no having to demonstrate skill level on the first day of the course!
- Groups are allocated in advance according to your booking details.
Lift pass & ski equipment
- Not included in the course price: Lift pass and ski equipment.
- Children aged 6 and over require a lift pass from the first day of the course.
- Children up to the age of 6 do not need a lift pass in the ski resort.
- Beginners (those who have never skied before) do not need a lift pass at the start and will be informed as soon as a lift pass is required.
